According to a U.S. court order, Pfizer has released a detailed list of the side effects of its COVID-19 vaccines. This disclosure came after years of controversy and questions about the safety of these products, the development of which accelerated during the pandemic. The leaked document has nearly 300 pages and lists side effects, from severe to moderate, related vaccination.
Late threat detection
Like all COVID-19 vaccines, those developed against COVID-19 have side effects. However, their rapid development in the time of health crisis raised legitimate concerns about their safety. For a long time, health authorities in many countries, including France, have downplayed the occurrence of these side effects, probably to avoid slowing down mass vaccination campaigns under intense social pressure.
The list currently available illustrates the scale of this phenomenon. An additional factor complicates the situation: not all batches of vaccines are of the same quality, which means that depending on the batch, not all vaccinated people were at the same risk.
Biological mechanism of turbocancer
The researchers raised the alarm already during the first vaccination campaigns in 2021. Among them, Jean-Marc Sabatier, a doctor of cell biology and microbiology, and head of research at CNRS, documented the possible link between mRNA vaccines and the development of rapidly progressing cancers, so-called turbocancers.
According to his explanations, this phenomenon is due to the excessive activation of the AT1R receptor in the renin-angiotensin system. This system plays a key role in cell differentiation and proliferation. The peak protein produced after vaccination binds to the ACE2 receptor and thus disrupts the breakdown of angiotensin II. In excess, this causes excessive stimulation of the AT1R receptor, which has pro-cancer, proangiogenic and pro-inflammatory properties.
The AT1R receptor also promotes oxidative stress, releasing free radicals damaging cells. In turn, antagonists of this receptor show anti-cancer activity in various cancers, including breast, prostate and lung cancer. Jean-Marc Sabatier described in March 2020, long before the first cases were reported, the action promoting the development of cancer, resulting from the disruption of the functioning of this system by the SARS-CoV-2 virus spike protein.
