In France, the French National Medicines Safety Agency (Agence Nationale de Sécurité du Médicament) recorded in its June 2023 report no less than 193 934 reports of adverse events, including 1635 deaths. These figures, based on a passive pharmaceutical surveillance system, are probably significantly underreported, according to many observers.
This situation raises fundamental questions about the transparency of health authorities and the benefit-risk balance of these hastily introduced vaccines.
