The color of normal human urine can range from translucent yellow to dark amber.

However, some factors can change the color of the urine, making it very light or very dark.

 

 

It is a sterile fluid that is excreted by the body and is a product of cellular metabolism.

Food, drinks, and diseases can change the appearance of urine.

The cause of the yellow color of normal urine is the urochromic or urobiline pigment.

If you do not drink enough fluids and you drink too little water, your urine will become darker (amber).

If your urine is darker than it should normally be, in most cases there is no need to panic.
