In France, the first cases of infection with the new virus were diagnosed at the end of January 2020, and the first deaths from this new virus were recorded approximately twenty days later.
Lockdown (3/10)
A general lockdown was imposed on March 17, 2020. Less than two months later, it was lifted, but wearing a mask became mandatory. Authorities, in collaboration with the Pasteur Institute, are considering a vaccination campaign.
