Signs :

  • Persistent indigestion or heartburn

  • Stomach pain or (especially discomfort above the navel)

  • Bloating after meals

  • Feeling full fast (early satiety) after even small meals

  • Nausea or vomiting (sometimes with blood)

  • Unexplained weight loss

  • Loss of appetite

  • Difficulty swallowing (dysphagia) if the tumor is near the esophagus

  • Fatigue or (often due to anemia from internal bleeding)

  • Black, tarry stools (melena — from bleeding in the stomach)

  • Vomiting blood (hematemesis, thoughs common)

  • Swelling in the abdomen (from fluid buildup or tumor growth)

Several factors, ranging from genetics to the environment, can increase the risk of stomach cancer, including:
