The importance of nourishment

The most important elements for poinsettia are phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) . You can use a fast-acting complex fertilizer – dissolve 1 teaspoon of monopotassium phosphate in 1.5 liters of water and water the plant.

Additionally, you can prepare a natural infusion of wood ash and onion husks : add 1 tablespoon of ash and the husks of two onions to 2 liters of water. After letting it sit for three days, water the zigocactus with this mixture.
